I go to 35-40 matches a season, mostly Championship. I love stats and metrics โ I track everything. For years I kept a list of every match in Apple Notes: stadium, date, score. But notes get lost, there's no way to see patterns, no stats, no map. It was frustrating.
I tried every groundhopping app out there. They all did the basics but none of them felt right โ clunky interfaces, no sense of journey, no excitement when you open them.
I've spent over 15 years building software products, so I decided to build what I actually wanted to use. A proper football match tracker, not another spreadsheet. A map that fills up. Stats that are fun to look at. A real sense of your football journey growing over time.
That's Footbeen.
Runners, film lovers, and readers all have products built around the things they care about. Football fans who actually go to matches deserve the same thing โ a place to share their journey with people who get it. Not Twitter where nobody cares about your League One away day. A community of people who do.
The goal is simple: make it the best way to track, relive, and share your football journey. We're just getting started.
