Switch from Football Ground Map to Footbeen

Bring your visited grounds to Footbeen and unlock personal stats, match diary, and achievements. Your data stays on footballgroundmap.com too — Keep your original export as a backup while you review the import.

  1. Log in to footballgroundmap.com

    Go to footballgroundmap.com and sign in to your account.

  2. Open your visited grounds list

    Navigate to your profile and open the list of all grounds you've visited.

  3. Look for an export or download option

    Check Settings or Profile for an export, download, or CSV option. Football Ground Map may have added data export since this guide was written.

  4. If no export exists, copy your ground list manually

    Select and copy your list of visited grounds from the page. You can paste it directly into Footbeen's import tool.

  5. Or request a data export via email

    If manual copying isn't practical, email Football Ground Map support and ask for your data. Under GDPR, you have the right to request your data.

  6. Open Footbeen → Import

    In Footbeen, go to Settings → Import Matches and paste or upload your ground data. We'll match your stadiums with our database of available matches in the Footbeen catalogue.

FAQ

How long does the import take?

Processing time depends on the file size and how many grounds need review. Footbeen shows the matched and unmatched records before you save the import.

Will all my grounds be imported?

We have an extensive database covering supported football competitions and thousands of stadiums. Most grounds from Football Ground Map will match. If a stadium isn't in our database yet, we'll show you which ones couldn't be matched.

Do I need to delete my Football Ground Map account?

No. Your data stays on footballgroundmap.com too. Keep your original export as a backup while you review the import. — Footbeen adds match tracking, personal stats, and achievements on top of your ground collection.

Does Football Ground Map have an export feature?

As of writing, Football Ground Map may not have a built-in CSV export. Check their Settings page for updates or request your data via email. Under GDPR, services must provide your data on request.

Can I import from other apps too?

Yes! We support Futbology CSV, CSV, and any generic CSV file. You can also paste match lists from your notes directly. Go to Settings → Import Matches.
